Yaśodhara does not describe the alchemical laboratory, its apparatus, implements, etc., giving only a list of yantras, etc., in chapter ten. However, the characteristics of a few yantras occur in chapter one: khalva (1.37cd–39), ūrdhvapātanayantra (1.50–56ab), adhapātanayantra (1.56cd–58ab), tiryakpātanayantra (1.58cd–62ab), jalayantra (1.87–91), 90 and śaraṇāyantra (1.128–140ab).
