197 Kumbha was assassinated, probably in 1469, by his son Udaya, whose younger brother Rājamalla succeeded to the throne (R.C. Majumdar, 1948: 387). Rājamalla reigned from 1474 to 1509 according to P.K. Gode (1931: 296).
