**Yoga.** It has been already indicated in a general way that the system of discipline for which the Upanishads stand is based upon that of *Yoga* as has been elaborated later in the *Yoga-sūtras* of Patañjali, of which some of the most important concepts and terms are derived from the Upanishads.
