**Theory of Knowledge.** Yoga formulates its system of practical discipline and training in accordance with a definite theory of knowledge or a scheme of interpretation of life and experience. It has, therefore, to be studied in this philosophical setting for which it has depended upon Sāṁkhya, as has been already stated.
