**Vikramaśīlā Scholars working in Tibet and writing in Tibetan : 1. Jñānapāda.** Āchārya Buddha Jñānapāda had his guru named Siṁhabhadra, after whom he was appointed as the royal priest of King Dharmapāla who later appointed him as the Āchārya for Ordination at Vikramaśīlā. There he developed his study of *Mantra-Vajrāchārya* and became the founder of a new cult of which Vikramaśīlā was the only centre in those days. About nine of his Sanskrit works on Tantra which are lost are preserved in Tibetan.
