8. **Vāgīśvara.** Vāgīśvara Kīrti, another 'gate-keeper', was a native of Benares, a worshipper of "Tārā Devī", and author of a Sanskrit work "Mṛityubañchanopadeśa", which was introduced to Tibet by Dīpaṁkara.
