15. **Dharmakīrti.** Dharmakīrti, a native of Tibet, came to study Sanskrit at Vikramaśīlā, where he later translated from Sanskrit into Tibetan the work "Samaya Pañcha" of Padmasambhava. He subsequently translated many Sanskrit works into Tibetan.
