v1.c7.350

The relation of this work to Narapati’s remains obscure. The GOML Madras manuscript contains Narapati’s text, but the colophon reads: *iti śrīmahārājādhirāja-sūryavaṃśānvayaśrīrasaratīvaraprasādakulapadmādityadevaviracite narapatijayacaryāsvarodaye . . . The Mahārājādhirāja is not identified; but it is known that Narapati wrote at Vallinagara under Ajayapāla, the Caulukya monarch of Gujarat from ca. 1172 to 1175.*
