This famous Jaina author, born at Nyagrodhikā to Svāti and Vātsi and known as Gṛddhrapiccha, composed at Pāṭaliputra among other works a Tattvārthādhigamasūtra, of which chapters 3 and 4 deal with cosmography and geography, and a Kṣetrasamāsa = Jambūdvīpasamāsa on the same subjects.
