Gaṅgādhara wrote a ṭīkā on the Bhāsvatī of Śatānanda (fl. 1099), apparently in Śaka 1607 = A.D. 1685. But a verse in Poleman 4784 following the scribe's verse indicates that he belonged to the Mudgalagotra and wrote in Śaka 1596 = A.D. 1674:
