In 1315 the Jaina scholar Ṭhakkura Pherū³ composed in Prakrit at Kaṇṇāṇapura a Jyotiṣasāra⁴ on astronomy, *jātaka*, and *muhūrta*. To this is added a separate work on mathematics, the Gaṇitasāra,⁵ also in Prakrit.
