In Verses 66-67, a kind of chronometer is described; there is a circular device in which, in a broad open vessel, there are thirty, probably ivory figures, or tooth-like pieces lying flat all along the circumference; the whole thing is revolving; in the centre is the figure of a lady, who wakes up one figure or piece for every *Nāḍikā*.
