*The Paniyala.* 'The *paniyala* (*Flacourtia jangomas*) is another. It is larger than the plum and like the red-apple unripe. It is a little austere and is good. The tree is taller than the pomegranate's; its leaf is like that of the almond-tree but smaller (Fig. 23).
