Kempers has a fine figure of Saraswatī in *Tribhaṅga* pose, with an attendant on either side.⁶ The figure of Gaṅgā is “shown standing on an animal which looks like a blend of elephant and *makara*. Her right hand is hanging down, whilst on the palm of her left hand she lifts a vase to the height of her shoulders.”⁷
