Yet to mention another tradition given by Taranath. Suviṣṇu, a contemporary of Nāgārjuna, is said to have established 108 temples at Nālandā in order to prevent any decline of *Abhidhamma*.[4] Since the tradition mentions Nāgārjuna it cannot be older than the 2nd century A.D.
