19. Nityaprakāśa Yati (14th-15th cent.) Nityaprakāśa Yati or °Bhaṭṭāraka, about whom the only personal information known is the name of his preceptor, viz., Ānandaprakāśa, has commented on the *Hora*, both in Sanskrit and in Malayalam. Both the commentaries are elaborate and are called *Prakāśikā*. The Sanskrit commentary is called also *Viṣamākṣaravivṛti*. The language of the Malayalam commentary, which is characterised by mediaeval traits,² would suggest for it a date in the 14th-15th century.
