Nārāyaṇan Nampūtiri of Iṭavaṭṭikkāṭ family was the younger brother of Tuppan Nampūtiri and was, like his brother, patronised by *Dharmarāja* of Travancore. He too was a poet of merit, both in Sanskrit and Malayalam and has left some exquisite writings. He wrote in Jyotiṣa *Muhūrtapadavī* VII, in 36 verses.²
