Subrahmaṇyan Tirumuṉpu was a member of Kunnaṭṭu Mana of Bhūtānāthapura (Payyanur) in North Malabar. He wrote a commentary called *Bhāvaprakāśaka* on the *Muhūrtadarśana* Vidyāmādhava. This commentary is very extensive, though it has not grown popular.²
