The very nature of Energy is to do work, to overcome resistance (रजश्चलम् उपष्टम्भकम्), to produce motion. All Energy is therefore ultimately kinetic; even potential Energy (अनुद्भूतवृत्तिशक्ति) is only the Energy of motion in imperceptible forms.
