Our *Brāhmaṇa* teaches as follows: he is winged for the unwinged cannot fly; the two wings are longer (than 1 *puruṣa* in each case) by 1 *aratni*, and this makes the birds strong in their wings; the two wings and the tail measure 1 *vyāma* (each).
