Inside this sacrificial hall are set up the *gārhapatya* fire at the western end, the *āhavanīya* fire at the eastern, the *dakṣiṇāgni* on the southern side more towards west and the *utkara* on the northern side more towards east. In between the *āhavanīya* and the *gārhapatya* fire is placed the *dārśapaurṇamāsika* altar for the full-moon sacrifice or such other altars as may be required.
