**3.1-3.4.** The distances for finding the positions of *prāgvaṃśa*, *sadas*, and *havirdhāna* relative to *mahāvedi* are given here. These values differ from those of Baudhāyana (*Bśl.* 4.1-4.11), although the dimensions of the *mahāvedi* remain the same in both the texts.
