The descriptions are mostly inadequate for drawing the actual diagrams of *ubhayata prauga*, *samūhya*, *droṇa* and *rathacakra* fire-altars These can, however, be understood by reference to Baudhāyana and Āpastamba. For *praugacit* a rectangle of 15 sq. *pu.* is to be drawn, and half of this area is required for the purpose. In the *droṇacit* of 1000 bricks, each layer is constructed with 200 bricks. Of two chariot wheels (*rathacakracit*) of different sizes, one has an area of 7½ sq. *pu.* and the other three times as large.
