They have not listened to the *gurumata* (theory of Prabhākara), have not learnt Kumārila’s philosophy, they do not have true knowledge of the text of Śārika (the two *pañjikās* or sub-commentaries named *Ṛjuvimalā* and *Dīpaśikhā* on the two commentaries *Nibandhana* and *Vivaraṇa* on *Śābarabhāṣya*), what to talk of Vācaspati’s text! They did not learn wise sayings of Mahodadhi,⁴⁰ they have not seen the text of Mahāvrata.⁴¹
