inhaling and exhaling, altogether; the vital force of the life-breath (prāṇa) is put to rest at will. Nor are at this point the sensations, by which inhaling and exhaling are noticed, experienced any longer by the accomplished adept. He has reached a state of elation where nothing appears to be unattainable.
