tan-mādhuryam-
āśāste patituṃ kaṭākṣa-madhupo mandaṃ dṛg-indīvare
kiñcid vrīḍa-visāṅkuraṃ mṛgayate ceto-marālārbhakaḥ |
narmālāpa-madhu-cchaṭādya vadanāmbhoje tavodīyate
śaṅke sundari mādhavotsava-karīṃ kāñcid daśām añcasi //

Its sweetness:
The bee of a side-glance hopes to light gently on the blue lotus of your eye; / the young swan of the mind seeks the lotus-shoot of a little modesty; / today a cascade of honey from playful chatter arises on your lotus face; / O beautiful girl, I suspect you have attained a certain state that creates a festival for Mādhava.
