tan-mādhuryam-
na vitrastā kā te pratiyuvatir āsīn mukha-rucā
dadhāra staimityaṃ praṇaya-ghana-vṛṣṭyā tava na kā |
vraje śiṣyā kābhūn na hi tava kalāyām iti hare-
rnikuñja-svārāje tvam asi rasike paṭṭa-mahiṣī //

What rival maiden of yours was not terrified by the luster of your face? / Who did not become paralyzed by the heavy shower of your affection? / Who in Vraja did not become your disciple in the arts? / Therefore, O connoisseur of rasa, you are the crowned queen in Hari's sovereign realm of the groves.
