11.55

mānena, yathā-
hariṇā sakhi cāṭu-maṇḍalīṃ
kriyamāṇām avamanya manyutaḥ |
na vṛthādya suśikṣitām api
svayam adhyāpaya gauri śārikām //

Through amorous indignation, as in:
O friend, having disdained out of anger
the circle of flatteries offered by Hari,
do not today, O fair one, waste your time
teaching this starling yourself, well-trained though it is!
