vrajati tena vayaṃ sa-vilāsa-
vīkṣaṇārpita-manobhava-vegāḥ |
kuja-gatiṃ gamitā na vidāmaḥ
kaśmalena kavaraṃ vasanaṃ vā //
'as he goes, we, having the surge of love aroused by his flirtatious glances, / reduced to the immobility of trees, do not know / through our fainting whether our braids or our garments [have slipped].'
