atha pragalbhā-
pragalbhā pūrṇa-tāruṇyā madāndhoru-ratotsukā |
bhūri-bhāvodgamābhijñā rasenākrānta-vallabhā |
atiprauḍhokti-ceṣṭāsau māne cātyanta-karkaśā //

Now, the pragalbhā (bold heroine):
The pragalbhā has reached full youthfulness, is blinded by passion and eager for intense amorous union;
she is expert in the rise of numerous emotional states, holds her lover overwhelmed with aesthetic sentiment,
is exceedingly bold in her speech and actions, and is extremely harsh in her amorous indignation.
