3.124

sā nāmāntaritāmiśravañcitārūpayoginī /
evam evetarāsām apy unneyaḥ saṃkarakramaḥ //
iti prahelikāmārgo duṣkarātmāpi darśitaḥ /
vidvatprayogato jñeyā mārgāḥ praśnottarādayaḥ //

That riddle combines the concealed-name, the mixed, and the deceptive forms; / in this very way the manner of combining the others as well should be inferred. / Thus the path of riddles, though difficult in nature, has been demonstrated; / paths such as questions and answers are to be learned from the usage of scholars.
