(Amaruśataka 23)
“‘Without any bodice at all, O lovely-eyed girl, you bear
an enchanting beauty’—as the beloved said this and touched the bodice-knot,
the company of female friends, delighted by the feast for the eyes of the smiling friend seated near the bed,
slowly slipped away under the pretense of feigned words.” (Amaruśataka 23)
