atra bhagavatīkartṛkāyā varaprāptermahānadīkartṛkā udanvatprārvispaṣṭatayā pratibimbatvenopanibaddhā /
ato dṛṣṭāntaḥ /

Here, the attainment of the ocean by the great rivers is clearly composed as a reflection of the attainment of the husband by the goddess. / Therefore it is an exemplar.
