manvādidharmaśāstrāṇi smṛtayaḥ smaraṇādapi |
ṛgyajuṣoradhītī yaḥ sa hotā'dhvaryuriṣyate ||

The legal treatises of Manu and others are traditions, through recollection as well. / He who has studied the Ṛgveda and Yajurveda is desired as the hotṛ and the adhvaryu [priest] respectively.
