sānnāyyaṃ havireva syādudgātāsāmato mataḥ |
āṣāḍho vratināṃ daṇḍaḥ somapīthīti somapaḥ ||

Sānnāyya is sacrificial oblation; the udgātṛ [priest] is understood from the Sāmaveda. / Āṣāḍha is the staff of ascetics; a soma-drinker is called somapīthin.
