hemādri-dānair dharaṇī-surāṇāṃ
hemācalaṃ hasta-gataṃ vidhāya |
yaś cāru-sopāna-pathena cakre
śrī-parvataṃ sarva-janāṅghri-gamyam ||
By gifts of golden mountains (hemādri) he placed the golden mountain [Meru] into the hands of the gods of the earth [brāhmaṇas], / and by means of a beautiful flight of steps / made Śrīparvata accessible to the feet of all people.
