yathā vīrānande-
ādhūta-mūrdha-daśakaṃ taralāṅulīkaṃ
rūkṣekṣaṇaṃ paruṣa-huṅkṛti-garbha-kaṇṭham |
paśyan niśācara-mukhāni tato' vatīrṇaḥ
saudhāt plavaṅga-pati-muṣṭi-hato daśāsyaḥ ||

As in the Vīrānanda:
Shaking his ten heads, with tremulous fingers,
with harsh looks, his throat containing rough shouts,
looking at the faces of the night-wanderers, the Ten-headed one then descended
from the palace, struck by the fist of the monkey king.
