yathā-
daṃta-kkhaaṃ kabole kaaggahubbellio a dhammillo |
parighummirāa diṭṭhī piāgamaṃ sāhai bahūe ||
As:
"The bite-mark on the cheek, the braided hair loosened by seizing of locks, / and the reeling gaze prove the arrival of the bride's beloved."
2.462.p1
(danta-kṣataṃ kapole kaca-grahodveellitaś ca dhammillaḥ |
parighūrṇana-śīlā ca dṛṣṭiḥ priyāgamaṃ sādhayati vadhvāḥ ||)
("The tooth-wound on the cheek, the braided hair loosened by seizing of hair, / and the rolling gaze prove the arrival of the bride's beloved.")
2.462.p2
atra aprathama-sambhogatvād bhayābhāvaḥ | danta-kṣatādiṣv aṅgārpaṇānukūlyena vyalīka-smaraṇādy-abhāvaḥ | tābhyām upārūḍha-vaibhavaḥ sampadyate sambhogaḥ |
Here, because it is not a first union, there is an absence of fear; by agreeable yielding of limbs in tooth-marks and the like, there is an absence of remembrance of offense and the like. Attaining splendor through both of these, union becomes enriched.
