tathā ca bhāratīye-
bhāvo vāpi raso vāpi pravṛttir vṛttir eva vā |
sarveṣāṃ samavetānāṃ rūpaṃ yasya bhaved bahu ||

And likewise in Bharata's work:
“Whether emotion or aesthetic sentiment, or dramatic style or verbal style,
whichever among all those assembled has the most prominent form, (257)”
