atha rasābhāsaḥ-
aṅgenāṅgī rasaḥ svecchā-vṛtti-vardhita-sampadā | 265
amātyenāvinītena svāmīvābhāsatāṃ vrajet ||

Now, the semblance of sentiment:
A principal sentiment may become a semblance through a subordinate element
whose prosperity is magnified by willful conduct, like a master through an undisciplined minister. (265)
