dākṣiṇyaṃ nāma bimboṣṭhi nāyakānāṃ kula-vratam |
tan me dīrghākṣi ye prāṇās te tvad-āśā-nibandhanāḥ ||

King:
'Courtesy, O bimba-lipped girl, is indeed the family vow of noble heroes; / nevertheless, O wide-eyed girl, whatever breath of life I have is bound to the hope of you.'"
