ity atra rāvaṇena [puruṣa-rūpeṇa praviṣṭena] dhanuḥ-kanyayoḥ prakṛtam arthaṃ parityajya rāśi-lakṣaṇasyārthasya prasañjanād ayaṃ bhraṃśaḥ |

Here, because Rāvaṇa [who had entered in the guise of a man] abandons the relevant meaning of the bow and the maiden and introduces the meaning belonging to the zodiac signs, this is deviation.
