mithyā-tīrthaḥ (ātma-gatam)-nūnam imāv api mādṛśāv eva liṅga-dhāraṇa-mātreṇa kukṣimbharaī syātām | (iti pippala-mūla-vedikāyāṃ niṣīdati |)

Mithyātīrtha (to himself): "Surely these two also are just like me, mere belly-fillers by the simple wearing of religious marks." (So saying, he sits down on the platform at the base of the sacred fig tree.)
