3.128

“With the tip of his arrow drawn to his ear and pointing upward, the trident-handed [Śiva],
assuming a terrifying form, with a fierce, loud laughter and a deafening uproar,
was meditated upon, O lord of Saumitri, as a garland of immense, soaring vetālas spread forth;
and by the fires bursting from His mouth, Indrajit too was reduced to ashes.”

3.128.p2

(Rāvaṇa faints; all attend to him appropriately.) Rāvaṇa (miming recovery from his swoon), ending with this, because of the narration of the agitation of the monkey army, the restraining of Sugrīva, the slaying of Kumbhakarṇa, the cremation of Indrajit, Rāvaṇa's fainting, and the like, it constitutes vidrava.
