ābhāsaṃ cārdhahastena harmyādīnāṃ tu mānayet
etadāyādiśuddhyarthaṃ sthānakādi tridhā bhavet

And ābhāsa one should measure with half a cubit for edifices and the like; / for the sake of the purity of āyādi formulas and the like, this becomes threefold: standing, seated, and the like.
