smṛtvā mānasitāṃ devāṃ mānayedvardhakī tathā
evaṃ māna kṛte vāstuvastvādi ca vivardhayet
Meditating on the white goddess of measurement, the joiner should thus take measurements; / when measurement is performed in this manner, he causes the dwelling site, objects, and the rest to prosper.
