athavā tattripādaṃ ca cārdhaṃ vātha tridhā bhavet
saṃhāraṃ ca sthitiḥ sṛṣṭirdṛṣṭirevaṃ śivasya ca
Or it may be three-quarters, or half, or threefold; / dissolution, maintenance, and creation: such is the gaze of Śiva.
