karoti yabhāvagataḥ svapāke tadbhāvajanyaṃ tvaśubhaṃ śubhaṃ vā |
śubhaṃ śubhavyomacarasya dāye pāpasya dāye svaśubhaṃ vadanti ||
In its own period, a planet produces evil or good arising from that astrological house in which it is situated; / in the period of a benefic planet they declare good fortune, and in the period of a malefic, evil.
