sārpe mūḍhamatiḥ kṛtaghnavacanaḥ kopī durācāravān garvī puṇyarataḥ kalatravaśago mānī maghāyāṃ dhanī |
phalgunyāṃ capalaḥ kukarmacaritastyāgī driḍhaḥ kāmuko bhogī cottaraphalgunībhajanito mānī kṛtajñaḥ sudhīḥ ||

[Born] in Āśleṣā, he is foolish-minded, ungrateful in speech, wrathful, ill-behaved, / arrogant, devoted to virtue, subservient to his wife, proud, and in Maghā, wealthy. / In Pūrvaphalgunī, he is fickle, of bad deeds, generous, firm, lustful, / and born in Uttaraphalgunī, he is an enjoyer, proud, grateful, and wise.
