10.4

mitra ari sva gṛha gatair grahais tato arthaṃ tuṅgasthe balini ca bhās kare sva vīryāt/
āyasthair udaya dhana āśritaiś ca saumyaiḥ saṃcintyaṃ bala sahitair anekadhā svam//(praharṣiṇī)E10

By planets situated in friendly, inimical, or own houses, wealth comes from them; when the Sun is exalted and strong, [it comes] by one's own prowess.
Through benefics possessing strength, situated in the eleventh, the ascendant, or the second, one should consider wealth in manifold ways.
